In 1947, just after the Second World War, Herman Holbrecht converted his trade in straw & hay into a trade in discarded army stock material. In July 1959 NV Holbrecht was founded , initially located in the Stationstraat in Lebbeke. Director Herman Holbrecht expands the NV on the Brusselsesteenweg 244 in Lebbeke in 1960. The larger storage space & the better location should benefit the company.

In 1983, Herman is transferred to the purchase of the former building furniture factory Walraevens in the Rossevaalstraat in Lebbeke, with the aim of providing his company with rental income through the rental of various warehouses in this building. In 1993, after a serious car accident by Herman Holbrecht, his son Eddy Holbrecht is appointed as a director. With the help of his son Yves Holbrecht and his commitment to the company, it is decided to also appoint Yves as a director to further expand the NV together with his father. Together they specialize in the purchase and sale of used trucks, trailers, compressors, generators, tyres, crawler loaders, cranes, forklift trucks and second-hand spare parts.

In 2016 there will be a new chapter in the story, when Yves Holbrecht, meanwhile director of JDG Trucks BV, moves with the business to a brand new building in the nearby industrial zone D'Helst. Father Eddy Holbrecht has passed away in the meantime (01/06/2022 +)

In addition to export to African countries, we are currently more and more active in export to European and Eastern Bloc countries.

As a service to our customers, we can, among other things, take care of transport loads, transit plates and shipments, as well as repairs.
